Description

This HO scale set covers the Seaboard Air Line’s forty-foot steel box and automobile cars constructed between 1934 and 1945, including classes B-6 through B-9 and AF-1 through AF-3.  Up to five models may be lettered using a variety of emblems and slogans.  This is the most accurate and exhaustive SAL box/auto car decal set produced to date for the late Steam/Transition eras and includes five different slogans (two “Orange Blossom Special,” and one each of “Robert E. Lee,” “Silver Meteor,” and “Courteous Service” plus three types of “Through the Heart of the South” emblems.  All characters, emblems and slogans were created individually from photos and other data sources to ensure that they faithfully reproduce the nuances of the prototype.
