Two new decals sets have been added

I have added some more of the Southern Pacific Union Duplex Door kits to inventory

The PFE Plywood Mini Kit release has been delayed as I have decided to include etched hatch rests and some extra cross bearer castings, as the prototype used an extra set for mounting the brake appliances then what comes in the Red Caboose Kit.

DECALS

The Transfer of the Speedwitch Line of Decals to National Scale Car is now completed. The majority of sets are in stock and can be found by clicking on the ‘Decal’ tab in the menu bar.

There are a few sets that haven’t arrived yet from Speedwitch but should be here in a couple weeks. Other sets that are out of stock are in the process of being reprinted, but do to the pandemic it could be a few months before they arrive.

In the coming weeks a few new sets that were printed by Speedwitch, but never released will be added to the line once Prototype Data Sheets/Instructions are written up.

I will be adding new sets to the line with artwork created by both myself and Ted.

Thank you for your patience during the transition of the decal line to National Scale Car.…

Happy Near Year!

I would like to thank all of our customers for their continued support throughout 2020.

I am excited to announce that The Speedwitch decal line has been acquired by National Scale Car. We will continue to sell the existing inventory and plan to restock the sets where inventory has been exhausted, some with new and revised artwork that Ted has been working to complete. New decals sets are also in the works created by both Ted and myself. The Decals will go up for sale on the site once the inventory arrives and the website is updated.

To kick off 2021 a rerun of the CN/CP NSC3 end Mini Kits has been completed and added to inventory.

We have three new kits and new parts to be released in 2021. Stay tuned for an announcement of the first kit in the next few weeks.

Here is a photo submitted by a customer that I received last year, which I completely forgot about. Chris Vanko did an excellent job of building and weathering kit #MK103.1. If you have completed one of our kits please consider sending us an image to share.

Happy New Year and remember to stay safe by hunkering down at your work bench and building a kit!…

Our kit instructions are now digital in PDF format and can be accessed through each kit’s respective product page. This change will make it much easier for modellers to view the instructions. You can print them out or view them digitally, allowing modellers to zoom in on the images and view colour photos.
