Description

The UTLX tank car set has been completely revised and re printed by Cartograf.  It now features updated tracings of most of the UTLX character set done by Ted. The end of tank data has been updated from prototype photos and now includes Gallon capacities. Additional numbers have been added so it’s easier to letter different car numbers. Finally the yellow print better represents the colour used by UTLX.

This HO scale set will letter up to ten different UTLX tank cars (five X-3, one V, one X , two ZV0 and one Z20).

Decal set includes two of artwork shown below plus prototype data.

Recommended Models:

V type – Precision Scale

X type – no model; kitbash of Roundhouse/MDC “old-time” tank

X-3 type – Rapido, Sunshine Models, Resin Car Works.

ZX0, Z20 types – Overland Models, Sunshine Models, Tangent or P2K cars depending on prototype.
