Description

This set letters two (2) New York Central 70-ton AAR flat cars from Lots 712-F (Emergency design, blt. 1942-1943 by Despatch Shops), 721-F (Emergency design, blt. 1943 by Despatch Shops), and 793-F (blt. 1950 by GATC). Note: Published NYC information calls for an 18″ wide oval System emblem; this size does not seem to match the actual prototype cars based upon scaling against the Intermountain and Sunshine Models HO scale cars. As such, both 15″ (more appropriate) and 18″ wide oval System emblems are included. Includes two of artwork shown.
