Description
In 1935 The D&H built 100 cars to the the 1932 ARAStandard, unique in their construction was the wide use of welding. The first ten cars featured all welded construction.The next 75 cars had welded side panels and end panel joints but used riveting for the rest of the construction. The last 15 cars had both riveted and welded construction. The first ten followed the welding and riveting of the previous 75 cars but the final 5 used riveting for the side to end joint and riveted underframes. These cars also had a a straight side sill which was welded to the underframe. The set will letter one car. Intended for the Sunshine or kitbashed Atlas cars. Includes two of the artwork shown.
