Description

In 1941, the Southern Pacific and its subsidiary Texas & New Orleans added 1,000 box cars built to the 1937 ARR design using Superior doors with Union Duplex Fixtures and Tracks.  The SP cars were in number series 84240-84739  and the T&NO cars were numbered 54100-54599, built by Bethlehem Steel Car and General American respectively.

This Mini Kit contains a pair of 10′ IH Superior resin doors 6′ wide, etched door tracks and Decals by Speedwitch Media.

The modeller will need to supply an Intermountain 1937 ARR boxcar.
